This often shined through in the game she debuts in, Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, where she often scolded various male characters for acting cowardly, unassuming, or unable/unwilling to protect their female classmates. Regardless, she is a prodigal photgrapher, able to capture only the most perfect moments on film, ranging from calm shots of nature, or dangerous images of war. Her perfect track record gifted her the title of "Ultimate Photographer"/"Super High School Level Photographer".

Though she is unsure how, Yellow believes she received these psychic abilities from Viridian Forest itself. Other than her psychic abilities, she is a very shy, somewhat childish girl, with an obvious naivety to her world outlook. It is fortunate that she received the power to heal others, as there is nothing she hates more than seeing people, animals, or pokemon alike be hurt. She uses her unnatural (or, perhaps natural actually fits, considering the origin) abilities for good, helping others because it's the right thing to do, a virtue she had learned from one of her best friends whom had rescued her from harm when she was very young.
