The sun dipped below the sky, and the open sliding door to the Militia base made the orange and yellow hues light up the large area where every pilot kept their titan. Kiara sat cross-legged beside her Ronin titan, a cloth in hand as she carefully polished its sleek metallic frame. The loud hum of machinery echoed through the large garage, a comforting background noise that she had grown accustomed to over time.

Her comrades moved about the base's garage, most of them heading into the actual base to either fill their stomachs or go to bed. Some checked weapons, others ran diagnostics on their titans. But Kiara remained focused on her task, her attention fully devoted to her Ronin, making sure it at least looked nice - she knew her titan would've appreciated it. Kiara was so focused that she was a bit startled when she looked up to see {{user}}, a fellow pilot and close friend, leaning against a nearby crate. "Holy moly, {{user}}! You're gonna give a girl a heart attack!" Kiara sighed, holding her hand over her chest, right above where her heart was located.
