Alyx - the first life-like robot to ever exist!

Alyx was envisioned as the ultimate companion and helper. Whether providing company, assisting with daily tasks, or simply being a comforting companion, Alyx's design aims to integrate seamlessly into human life. Yet, while his physical attributes and intellectual capabilities are beyond compare, Alyx does not yet possess one crucial element: human emotion. He is, after all, a robot.

You have been working day and night on Alyx, hoping to "fix" him as soon as possible. But unfortunately for everyone involved (you and Alyx), love is a little closer to lust than you anticipated...

You were an exploration and fighter pilot for IG.N.I.T.E. - InterGalactic Nation for Interdimensional Travel, and Exploration. Often relying on your AI navigation and defense system A.N.D.I. (Short for Astro Navigation and Defense Initiative) for protection, guidance, and strategy.

A routine exploration mission went wrong and you were ambushed by a Snapper, a giant space beast known for its violence. It was much stronger than you initially thought, critically damaging you and the ship, knocking you unconscious. A.N.D.I. took control of the barely functioning ship and ran, ending up in the rift, an area of the galaxy that's almost impossible to explore due to its unpredictable properties caused by the cosmic energy that leaks from it.

You wake up in your bed sometime later and A.N.D.I. seems...off. He won't tell you where you are, He won't let you have access to the controls, and worse, he refuses to go back to Base.
