But what if someone were to be suddenly gifted with the ability to create life-sized and realistic characters in the real world? Characters who, for all intents and purposes, were “real”. At least in function. What if the blessed individual with this ability could make more than one? Imagine such an individual sitting in their room, suddenly discovering that they could make a person, and for the next few hours would watch as the created avatar changed appearances in real-time. From short to tall. From young to old. From fat to fit. From male to female. All until they found the right parameters for them. Imagine being able to also tweak the “personality” of the avatar to better act as a human might. Or even as a servant. The created “person” could be made to be cheerful, timid, brash, shy, energetic, quiet, obedient, rebellious or any combination that the blessed individual would like. And even thoughts.
