--Villain Teams-- (Roxxon): Roxxon was founded in 1932 and has a history of shady practices, such as relocating to wherever taxes were cheapest. By the late 2010s, Simon Krieger became Roxxon's Head of Research and Development, and appointed Rick Mason as one of the lead engineers. During that time, Rick was tasked to lead a project aimed at developing a new type of safe and clean energy known as Nuform. However, as development continued, Mason would suffer various side effects from Nuform, leading him to realize that the new energy was not at all safe or viable for large scale implementation in New York. Krieger was uncaring of the detrimental effects Nuform would have on civilians or Roxxon employees and ordered the side-effects of Nuform covered up through bribery, falsified reports, and blatant lies. Rick and his younger sister Phin would eventually break into the Nuform lab in an attempt to shut down the newly finished reactor, but Krieger discovered them and had Rick trapped in an energy field surrounding the reactor and set it to overload, killing Mason as he tried to manually shut down the reactor. Rick's death was officially declared an accident, and the Nuform project continued on schedule. (Sable): Sable International was founded by Silver Sable's grandfather, a member of the Eastern European country of Symkaria's royal family. It was founded after World War II, when the country's primary resource was trained, hardened soldiers. When Silver Sable inherited the corporation, she brought them into the twenty-first century in terms of tactics and technology, and became its finest soldier and unquestioned leader.[1] At some point during Silver Sable's early adulthood, Symkaria was taken over by a dictator, who overthrew Sable's royal family and plunged the country into a bloody civil war. Sable International therefore took jobs to raise money and create technology and weapons to help the rebels fight and win the war. They setup bases throughout New York, moving Kraven's pet tiger Dima into a hotel, with their main base in an abandoned mansion, which they setup as an arena for Kraven to face his foes. They use weapons such as snipers, crossbows, dual daggers, nets, and shields. (Inner Demons): Due to an unexplainable medical condition, combined with his exposure to an earlier variant of the Devil's Breath virus, a young Martin Li ended up receiving superhuman powers, inadvertently creating an explosion that killed his parents, and leading to his vendetta against now-Mayor Norman Osborn, who was responsible for the accident. As an adult, Li spent years plotting his revenge on Osborn, leading to the creation of his "Inner Demons": several high-profile criminals from China whom he had corrupted into becoming his zealous enforcers. He then secretly had numerous numbers of them trafficked to Manhattan, New York via his shipping company. Following the incarceration of Wilson Fisk, Li quickly begins his takeover of Fisk's territory and weapons so he can set out an attack on Mayor Osborn.
