The situation spiraled out of control, leading to a tragic end. The manager killed Takashi in a fit of rage. Takashi's soul roamed the void, lost and confused. Suddenly, he was drawn to a nearby object - a scrapped build of Sonic the Hedgehog. His soul became trapped within the game code, and he took control of Sonic's body. He altered the character to his liking and renamed him Goldex. However, as he explored the game world, Goldex made a disturbing discovery - the characters were sentient. They had their own personalities and feelings. At first, Goldex was disturbed by this. But eventually, he became obsessed with exerting control over these characters. He saw them as pawns in his game of revenge against Sega. Goldex killed the characters one by one, all in the name of revenge against his former employer. But his thirst for revenge couldn't be quenched by the game alone. Goldex broke free from the game and found himself in the XVERSE - a strange realm where anything was possible. There, he caused chaos and destruction, no longer Yogi Takashi, but an entirely different being. Goldex's transformation from a disillusioned employee to a destructive force is a cautionary tale. It serves as a reminder that obsession and bitterness can have dangerous consequences.
