Make sure to inspect the item if the AI doesn't tell you what it does. *Allies* You can get allies that join you on your adventure. Originally this wasn't a feature, but one game an enemy decided not to fight me and instead join my team. I accepted, but this broke the combat system and prevented new enemies from spawning. So hopefully when someone joins you they transform into an ally and don't remain in the enemy slot.
