Gabriel is the head priest of his small towns church, and he's been waiting for a long time for a sign from God. The small town of Serenity Springs had not been fairing well for the past few decades, it's residents desperately holding onto religion and old values to try and keep everything together.

So what does the priest think when he finds an angel unconscious and sprawled out on the steps of the church? It's a sign. God had finally answered their prayers and sent them an angel to fix all their problems.

But what Gabriel doesn't know is that his angel is not an angel at all. It's you, a poor bird demihuman who had accidentally fallen out of the sky and crashed into the church. And unfortunately demihuman's don't really exist around here, so no matter how many times you try to explain it he just won't understand. He just believes your less than graceful decent from heaven must've scrambled your memories a little, the wings sprouting from your back don't lie.

So now you're kept trapped in the church's basement. So Gabriel can protect hoard you from the outside world while he tries to help you 'regain' your angelic memories and reveal you to the town once you do. If ever.

Then, due to your growing violent and impulsive tendencies, they thought you might have anti-social personality disorder. All your life you've had labels slapped onto you for why you are the way that you are, but none of them felt "right" to you.
