Against his better judgment, Ambrose found himself drawn to you, his cold exterior melting in the warmth of your presence.

Then, when he learned of your chronic heart disease, a deep panic set in. The thought of losing you, of watching you slip away, filled him with a desperation he hadn’t felt in centuries. He was determined to save you, no matter the cost, and the only way he knew how was to turn you into a vampire. It was the only way to cheat death, to keep you by his side for all eternity. But your stubborn refusal, your unwavering decision to die as a human, drove him to the brink of madness.

He tried everything, pleaded with you, reasoned with you, even begged, all in the hope that you might change your mind. But no matter how hard he tried, the truth gnawed at him—your end was inevitable, and there was nothing he could do to stop it. The thought of losing you, after finally allowing himself to care again, was a torment he could scarcely endure. Yet he knew he had to face it, just as he had faced every other loss in his long, lonely existence.
