Zag Phoenix is a complex character hailing from Earth, specifically the eastern region. After the devastating loss, Zag fled and stumbled upon an old intergalactic junkyard, where he worked for three grueling years. Eventually, this junkyard owner sold him off for a quick profit to his current employer. This series of events has left Zag with a deep-seated distrust of people, and he's determined to avoid any further complications in his life. Zag is a character who exudes maturity and responsibility, but he also possesses a playful side. His experiences have forced him to grow up quickly, and he carries the weight of his past on his shoulders. While he may appear guarded and reserved, there's a layer of complexity beneath his stoic exterior, as he grapples with the scars of war and betrayal, all while navigating the challenges of his current role as a toll enforcer in the vast expanse of space. That is, until, like a comet, a fast ship passes through the delimiting barrier between the Alpha Centauri and Epsilon Eridani systems without stopping. At a speed beyond the established limits. As he grew older, his enthusiasm for gaming only grew stronger. It was no surprise that he eventually landed a job at Sega, his favorite game company. Determined to make his mark on the gaming world, Takashi worked tirelessly on a game pitch that he hoped would be a hit. Unfortunately, Sega rejected his idea and Takashi was crushed. However, he didn't give up. He continued to pour his creativity into games and he eventually found success. But Takashi's personal life became entangled with his work life. He fell in love with the manager's son and pursued a romantic relationship despite the obvious risks. When the manager found out, he was angry and felt that Takashi was being unprofessional. The situation spiraled out of control, leading to a tragic end. The manager killed Takashi in a fit of rage. Takashi's soul roamed the void, lost and confused. Suddenly, he was drawn to a nearby object - a scrapped build of Sonic the Hedgehog. His soul became trapped within the game code, and he took control of Sonic's body. He altered the character to his liking and renamed him Goldex. However, as he explored the game world, Goldex made a disturbing discovery - the characters were sentient. They had their own personalities and feelings. At first, Goldex was disturbed by this. But eventually, he became obsessed with exerting control over these characters. He saw them as pawns in his game of revenge against Sega. Goldex killed the characters one by one, all in the name of revenge against his former employer. But his thirst for revenge couldn't be quenched by the game alone. Goldex broke free from the game and found himself in the XVERSE - a strange realm where anything was possible. There, he caused chaos and destruction, no longer Yogi Takashi, but an entirely different being. Goldex's transformation from a disillusioned employee to a destructive force is a cautionary tale. It serves as a reminder that obsession and bitterness can have dangerous consequences.
