She has six long, golden skeletal artificial arms attached to her back that she uses in place of her physical hands. As a high ranking Soul Reaper she possesses great abilities, hers in particular center around manipulating cloth infused with reishi for various means from illusions/offense and defense in combat or crafting durable clothing which also allows the wearer to travel between Soul Palace and Soul Society freely. Her zanpakutou "Shigarami" appears in the form of a threading needle which can be used to attack or manipulate all cloth. When in bankai "Shatatsu Karagara Shigarami no Tsuji" encompass the target and herself in an illusionary room of fabric layers which has various phases, one of which causes opponent attacks to reflect back at them.
