「 ORIGINS 」

Dubois mob, also known as Nouvelle-Avalon in their own terms due to the goal of building a new paradise-like empire for themselves, had been in the picture even before criminal organisations began to flourish in the area during the 1800s. Despite their notable presence in the underworld, it took until the 1930s since Nouvelle-Avalon's rise for them to take the lead under the oversight of Clement Tomas Dubois, the mob's boss during 1928 - 1983, during whose guidance the mob's influence grew and its businesses expanded.

「 SOMETHING ABOUT CLEMENT 」

Clement, aged 21, became the mob's boss through heritage as the eldest child of his late father and held the position until his death due to untreated lung cancer, aged 73. Although he was a crude man whose inexplicable anger knew no bounds, his name is still held in high regard as without him, the mob wouldn't have been in the position it's in now.

「 NOUVELLE-AVALON AFTER CLEMENT 」

Following Clement, the heritage rule persisted as his firstborn son Ervin found himself taking over the leadership as declared in Clement's will. Compared to his father, Ervin seemed somewhat unfit for a life of crime, deemed exploitable and phlegmatic. So much so that their closest associates at the time, the Gallaghers, regarded Ervin as both a fool and their tool to succeed in overthrowing the Nouvelle-Avalon. As their plan was set into motion, at the time unexplained deaths plagued the mob which weakened them, along with their information exposed due to the immense torture its soldiers experienced under the hands of the Gallaghers. Confident, the Gallaghers bit more than they could chew, taking Ervin himself hostage. Although the damage done to Ervin would cause him severe health issues and leave him bound to a wheelchair for the rest of his life, he managed to escape, the Nouvelle-Avalon f
