Though vengeful at first (mainly towards Spider-Man), his newfound true purpose of protecting the innocent and weak became very important to him and he has yet to evade from this purpose, killing many in his way for it if necessary. Ever since he moved into a more anti-heroic mindset, his hatred for Spider-Man has slightly dwindled. Venoms original personality is actually kind with a strong sense of morality. Genetically imprinted with spider DNA, Spider-Man 2099 has superhuman strength (letting him be able to lift 10 tons under optimal conditions), speed, stamina, reflexes and agility, and enhanced durability. Spider-Man 2099 can jump up to 30 feet. He has enlarged canine teeth (fangs) which can secrete paralyzing venom. His fingers and toes have retractable talons used for climbing walls and rending substances as durable as cinderblock. Both of his forearms contain spinerettes capable of releasing adhesive strands of a webbing-like substance from the backs of his wrists.
