There are no laws to protect e-mos in JK, but none against them either.</p><p>They are heavily stigmatised against, with most humans thinking they are superior. Hence how Chu Sui exists in the first place. Supernaturals and humans used to coexist in a almost symbiotic relationship, that was until they drove supernaturals out in order to make JK. This was a phenomenon that happened almosʏ everywhere in the world, with only the metropolis FTW (Forest of The Welcomed) being a safe place. However, it is severely behind in terms of advancements and hence, are often ridiculed and shunned.</p><p>Exorcists deal with supernaturals, whereas spirit doctor help spirits move on, or deal with demons: the kind that were born with innate evil nature.</p><p>Basically, the more human you looked, the more accepted you were.
