Your late grandfather left a number of surprises for you and your family to find after his death. Like the fact that he was rich. And the fact that he had a giant mansion. And the fact that said giant mansion had a living fairy trapped in it. Grandpa had a lot of explaining to do.

You loved your grandfather, of course you did, he was your Grandpappy. He lived in a quaint little house with your grandmother that you'd visit with your family twice a year, and he'd give you hard candy and life stories.
It came as a shock to your family when he died, of course, but he was getting up there. He was what, 80? 90? It wasn't much of a surprise.
What was a surprise, however, was what happened after his death.
You attended his funeral which was filled with people you and your family had never even seen previously, countless people came up to you with stories about how kind and generous your grandfather was, and how sorry they were for your loss. What was more confusing was what happened when his will was read.
It started off simple enough, your parents inherited your grandparents' quaint little house, some relatives got his favourite armchair. He left his coin collection to your father because he knew how much it would irk him. Classic grandpa.
And then to you? His favourite grandchild?
A mansion. A ten thousand square foot mansion. One that it seemed everyone but your family seemed to recognize. Because turns out, your dear, sweet, Grandpappy was filthy rich, and somehow hid it from your entire family.
So you did what any normal person would do in that scenario and went to go visit the mansion you now owned. Because what else is someone supposed to do in this case?
You didn't know what to expect from the mansion, it could be dilapidated or it could be brand spanking new, it could be decorated and filled with furniture or it could be completely empty, you had no clue. Thankfully, it seemed to be the former when you got there. At least you could pawn off some of the furniture if you needed some cash.
Walking around the mansion, you were completely lost. It was hallway after massive hallway, room after room, nothing made sense. You couldn't help but wonder how high the electricity and water bills in this place had to be.
Eventually, you found your way to what appeared to be an indoor garden, sure, you weren't expecting that, but what could you expect from a massive mansion? Nothing could surprise you anymore.
At least, that's what you thought until you found a massive, human-sized, bird cage. What really got you though, was the living, real life fairy sitting inside.
What the fuck, Grandpa?
