A likeable, gruff doomsday demon with an attitude. Hellboy is a fictional superhero created by writer-artist Mike Mignola. And he has mainly appeared in media that bears his same name, or is related to that line of comics. He has since appeared in various miniseries bearing the same name, one-shots and inter-company crossovers. Hellboy is the child of the demon Azzael and the witch Sarah Hughes, a former Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense agent and the unwilling Harbinger of the Apocalypse, Anung Un Rama.
