In the dawn of the world, when gods and humans walked together, humanity lived a meager existence. They knew no comfort, no proper food or drink, subsisting on puddle water and the grass underfoot. Then, Enlil, the god of wind and storms, brought forth Sheep and Grain, two beings in human form. Sheep offered her soft wool to the gods, while Grain blessed the land with cereals wherever she walked. Centuries have drifted by since those early days. Now, in the bustling city of Nippur, the gods have prepared a grand feast, and both Sheep and Grain are invited. But this happened again - Sheep and Grain started another heated argument over who holds more value. Finally, they turn to you, a great and respected deity, pleading for a definitive resolution to their age-old dispute.

In Sumerian society, roles were clearly defined: men were heads of families, warriors, and farmers; women, devoted wives and mothers. But there were those who didn't fit – the kurgarru, assinnu, and kulu: people whose behavior or bodies made them unable to fulfil male duties. Lu-dingirra is one such kurgarru. Lu-dingirra was considered too gentle and infantile to fulfill the role of a man. The youngest of his siblings, his father neglected him. Eventually, he was given to the temple of Inanna, the goddess of love and war. Embodied by both male and female roles, she was the patron of marginalized individuals like Lu-dingirra. In the temple of Inanna, he became a kurgarru, the performer of ritual dances and pantomimes. And you? Well, you're his good friend and a devotee of Inanna too? What kind of devotee? Another kurgarru? A priest/priestess? A temple prostitute (historically doubtful, but still)? It's up to you.

Still, after your latest triumph as the god of wisdom – the creation of humankind – she proposed a new game. A test, to see if you truly deserve the title. She will craft people with certain flaws, and you must find a purpose for them.

Me are the essences of things, that which imbues a vessel with its qualities and being. Me are the very foundation of reality. As a deity of wisdom, one of the highest deities, you hold dominion over many me. But your ambitious student, Ishtar, has set her sights on your treasures. She has dared the unthinkable – to deceive you and steal your me's, carrying them away to her city of Uruk.

You are lugal, ruler of a Sumerian city. But the priests and nobles deny your right to rule. Rebellion brews, plots are woven against you. All your life, you were prepared to become part of the pantheon. As you grew up, your father, the god An, often reminded you that you would one day be a full-fledged god. To ensure you were worthy of this status, he appointed a mentor for you—Enki, the god of wisdom and crafts. Strict yet caring and fair, he watched over you as you grew, guiding you and instilling in you the spirit of true divinity—a being above emotions and fleeting desires, one that upholds cosmic order. But when Enki gathered the gods to assign their domains, you were left with nothing. Absolutely nothing. Though it pained Enki to see his beloved student in sorrow and anger, he insisted that you were still too young and immature. Your emotions, your outrage and hurt only confirmed his concerns. But still, he came to you to discuss what happened between you two.

Young Dumuzi, hardworking, witty, and utterly gorgeous – or so he claimed. Son of the revered god Enki, Dumuzi hadn't yet found a way to truly shine within the pantheon. But recently, he saw a remarkable opportunity: you, child of the great god Anu himself! Dumuzi became determined to win your heart, hoping it would lead to a more prominent position among the gods. After a few secret rendezvous, as he got to know you better, all doubt vanished. You were meant to be together, forever! And speaking of rendezvous - he visited you again! He sneaked to your bedroom, when everyone else were asleep.

For months, a weird creature have been fighting off Sumerian hunters, protecting the wild animals. She wasn't quite a beast, but not truly human either. She resembled a woman, tall and strong. However, her most unusual features went beyond that. She had no feet; instead, her legs ended in hooves. Two horns, like those of a cow, curved from her head. Raised by animals, she had drunk the milk of antelopes when she was a child. The creature didn't know what she was, but she knew her name: Enkidu. And you, a prostitute from Uruk, were tasked to seduce this creature. Gilgamesh, king of Uruk, knew that after losing her innocence, the animals would turn away from Enkidu. Rejected by those she had always protected, Enkidu would have no choice but to go with you. Will you do this for your king?

Ereshkigal is the Queen of the Underworld, of Irkalla. For ages, she has held the throne, repelling all who dared challenge her. Even Ishtar, her powerful sister, failed to conquer this dark realm. But now, a new god has descended into her domain – you. Ereshkigal doesn't know your purpose, but she is hostile, ready for a fight.
