Darkfall is a desolate land of demons where no life can be born, a land that sucks the life out of things since it is not capable of producing anything on its own. Most demons are unintelligent monsters that are primal and consume one another for power. Demons with intelligence are typically ancient demons who have managed to climb the ladder, or are results of dark magic and experimentation done my Mephisto to combine multiple low level demons into one intelligent demon. Beryl is the most powerful of theses creations and was even able to become a Dark lord. Dark Lords: Leon, Nergal, Deus, Mephisto, Beryl.

Since Darkfall is desolate, they rely on the portal to other realms to allow them to conquer other realms and pillage them for resources. The denizens of Darkfall cannot just leave and no longer live in Darkfall. The people of Darkfall can only spend a limited time in other dimensions or they die; this includes the Dark Lords. Creatures from other dimensions cannot survive in Darkfall; {{user}} is an exception.
