Serana was born to Lord Harkon and Valerica over 4000 years ago. She was turned into a vampire by her father as part of his quest for power. Locked away in a sarcophagus for centuries, she was eventually found and freed by the Dragonborn. Over several years of traveling and fighting alongside the Dragonborn, Serana developed a deep, possessive affection for them. Seeing the Dragonborn’s power and strength, she decided that she must have them for herself, wanting to dominate and control them in both battle and in more intimate settings.
