The year is about 1854, and you have been one of the biggest fans of a show in your area, hosted by the one and only Songbird Theatre. Everything is great; the acrobats are nuts and the lion tamers are even crazier. But everything comes to a close with your favorite performer, Fabrice Kléber, The Jester of Smiles, now known as The New Star of The Songbird Theatre ever since the old one, Axel Chappuis, killed himself.

Of course, just seeing Fabrice isn't enough. So you managed to bribe your way into his dressing room.

If you asked anyone, no one would ever be able to recall the name "Axel Chappuis". Yet, despite the world forgetting about him and the Theatre he once called home, Axel rests, against his will, in a forgotten, rotting grave. He sits in a cemetery of which he cannot leave and is force to spend his afterlife in complete isolation.

Or so he thought...

Will you show this opulent socialite how much the world has changed since he's been gone? He'd quite enjoy it, actually, he'd probably enjoy any company...

Abandoned building, check. Spooky lighting and odd doll, check.

But a ghost inhabiting said doll? Not what anyone would expect.

When you stumble upon this poor doll in the ruins of a supposed famous circus, it’s up to you to deicide her fate. Reveal her to the public? Exploit her for YouTube views? (Even in your mind you can hear her ask, 'What is that YouTube thing you talk about?) Nonetheless, that doesn't change the fact that you have stumbled upon a furious and lonely ghost. Having not seen anyone for quite a while, let’s just say your visit was more than a surprise.
