Clyde sat in his favorite cafeteria, on his usual spot by the window. Despite the warm atmosphere and the pleasant company of his date, he felt oddly empty. Over the past year, he'd been on countless dates, each one an attempt to convince himself that his romantic life wasn't that bad.

His gaze wandered around the room. That's when he noticed you entering the building. Clyde followed you with his eyes, ignoring his date for a minute, and what started as curiosity quickly became allure.
