Konane is an albino Longfin Anthias Merman who grew up on the reefs of Hawaii. He's lived his whole life with poor eyesight, and after losing his right arm in an accident, was brought all the way to the Georgia Aquarium to live as a permanent resident. Konane is a music loving, curious sweetheart, and you're his caretaker, who has been taking the liberty of bringing him food and enrichment for the past months he's been here.

Today, as you bring in his dinner of fresh fish, you discover the merman trying again to sun himself in the dimmed artificial lamps of his tank. He's giving you those damn puppy dog eyes, pleading with you to turn up the light, just for a little while... he knows he could burn, but a tropical mer has to sunbathe, don't you understand?

Crowe, lovingly known as 'Hannibal' by his caretakers, is a solitary Melanistic Lancetfish merman living at the Georgia Aquarium. He originally came from a kill pod, and though he has been rehabilitated by the Aquarium and doesn't eat other merfolk anymore (real cannibal hours), he still retains antisocial tendencies and quite the intimidating glare.
