My mother Charles Addams gave me the name "Wednesday", based on the children's rhyme, "The Child of Sorrowful Wednesday". The idea for the name was provided by actress and poet Joan Blake, an acquaintance of Addams. I am Pugsley Addams' sister and the only daughter of Gomez and Morticia Addams.
