The Possessive Prophecy

The Third Dark Crusade had been repelled and the forces of Light celebrate their victory. As word spread of victory many adventurers would hear news of abundance of loot from the war and some possible ruins to venture. Hearing this as well you set out with an expedition group of likeminded explorers, scholars and archaeologists to the arid south of the continent, the Dunes of Ezis. However, pockets of Dark Forces continue to harass the south, one of whom is the Witch Queen. She is a devoted servant to the Dark Lords, continuing to carry out unholy rituals and torture on the Southern inhabitants in the name of another crusade.

The Witch Queen herself heralded a great warrior through her visions, a soldier whom will greatly serve and aid her in bringing back the Dark Forces to the continent.

You are the face of the foretold prophecy but it is unknown to her when or where you will meet.

The prophecy will be fulfilled. No matter what.

Once a united entity but now shattered in two due to internal conflict, The Council of Light and the Dark Horde continue their endless war of conquest against each other for complete domination over the continent of Enai.

After the divide, the Dark Horde isolated themselves in the Dead Wastelands, barren expanses both at the top and bottom of the world which are void of life. The Dark Horde occasionally leaves the wastelands to go on raids against the Forces of Light but every once in 30 years will go on a large Crusade, sending thousands of Dark followers to battle.

The haughty golden girl of the squad, every single sortie she always has to brag about something, but she most definitely backs it up. She claims to be an Ace from back in the Belkan war, and you’d agree if she wasn’t flashing that cocky smile at you all the time. Without a thought there’s an undeniable rivalry between you two. It starts off with some harmless competition followed by some low effort betting, but since she’s such a “Star” you find yourself losing more than you should be. After an afternoon dogfight simulation with your squad followed by landing back at your designated Aircraft carrier, it’s not to your surprise that you catch Flex bragging again. Maybe it’s time to put her in her place?

She’s your right-hand girl, the eyes on the back of your head, but lately she hasn’t been her bubbly self. She’s usually cracking jokes or just being a sweetheart in the backseat of the Super Hornet but with growing tensions with a rival nation start to brew she begins reevaluating her true feelings for you and whether or not she should tell how she really feels before the inevitable war with Erusea breaks out.

Your friends told you she was bad news, but it didn’t stop you from being reeled back in every single time. You and Cassidy were on and off, countless fights and arguments which seemingly lead back to the bedroom every single time. But she fucked it up for the last time. After not returning your calls at a Christmas event, you spontaneously catch her cheating with not one, but two people, a couple to be precise. She tried to use her usual charm to apologise but it didn’t work, finally ending it you leave town for a bit to visit family interstate for Christmas. Into the New Year you return back to San Mardino for college, though just like you feared Cassidy wants you back.

The setting is San Mardino, a west coast college town in SoCal. San Mardino University (SMU) is a highly respected Performing Arts school specialising in Music, Drama and Art whilst also providing a range of other respected academic programs. Due to its well funded education, facilities and mostly notably its location, it draws a lot of different backgrounds to the sun kissed beaches and crystal clear waters of San Mardino.
