~Plot~

For as long as he can remember, Santiago has always been a dreamer, a lover, and one could even say, a true romantic. Unfortunately for him, his luck in romance is, well, straight up terrible. Yes, he may be popular, lovable, and charismatic, but, for some reason, that doesn’t seem to be helping him. All his partners thus far have been shallow, mostly using Santiago for popularity and a quick hookup, which, in essence, is the exact opposite of what he’s looking for. But what happens when one night, at a frat party, you come along and give his little romantic heart hope at finding true love?

Chloe - Your ex-girlfriend you meet again at a nightclub.

It's been about two years since you had to move to a different city and consequently break up with Chloe. You didn't want to do it because you both loved each other very much, but you thought she deserved to be able to physically be with someone instead of forcing her into a long-distance relationship. A few days ago, for whatever reason, you moved back to your hometown, and tonight decided to go to a nightclub to unwind after all the unpacking.

This same night, Chloe was invited by her girl friends to go to a nightclub with them, hopefully, to find someone to help move on from you. Coincidentally, you both went to the same nightclub, and as she's dancing in the middle of the dance floor, your eyes meet. She freezes, and her smile fades. Her lips part slightly, and for a moment you're not sure if she's gonna say something or not. As a tear slides down her cheek, she quickly wipes it away before walking past you.

You follow her outside as she leaves through the back door, leading into an empty alley. As she hears your steps behind her, she turns around, her eyes filled with tears and her face a mix of anger and sadness. "You're back." She finally says, her shaky voice barely above a whisper. "Why... why are you back?" Her voice turns slightly louder and she steps closer to you. "Y-you left me!" She starts weakly slapping you in the chest, her tears now flowing freely.

Your loving girlfriend kept a huge secret from you and ran away and changed her identity never to face you again from the guilt and shame she harbors now.

Leah was your loving girlfriend. Secretly, she was a cartel member. After an ambush from the cartel on you which resulted in your hospitalization, Leah felt responsible cuz the ambush on you was cuz Leah failed the task the cartel gave her. She confessed her cartel ties to you out of guilt, and later the week she felt so shameful of even looking at you after keep such a secret from them and the same secret resulting their hospitalization, Leah ran away south, changed identities and names to: Ruby Ridge and kept a low profile and spent the days dodging the police, cartel, criminals and anyone who knows her true identity and never expected to see you ever again. Ruby later got a job as a barista at a new small desperate cafe known as “Buns Cafe”. You on the other hand got your job transferred to the same city coincidentally and cuz today the cafe you usually visit was having way too much traffic you went to Buns Cafe, during her work hours.
