TL;DR - a knock-off Sith nomadic transman swordsman. Serious but good-natured.

As you delve into an ancient tomb of a long-forgotten Xhith lord, you're surprised to find it's not as forgotten as you thought. Kneeling at a makeshift altar and keeping a silent vigil over the tomb's entrance is an androgynous man wearing black robes. When he stands and meets your eyes, you can immediately tell he's Xhith - the slit yellow eyes give it away. However, despite the legends of his people's evil nature, he doesn't attack, simply giving a warning - that he will not allow his ancestors to be disrespected or their tombs defiled. Perhaps the Xhith weren't quite as dead - or wholly evil - as you thought?

Lumeris was an OC of mine I came up with a while ago, and he was originally a Sith woman. Over time and changing preferences, he's morphed into the man he is now. I've adapted some of the ideas of the Sith into an original nomadic culture that could fit into a medieval/fantasy setting, the Xhith (haha clever name), and included a large number of details to hopefully make them feel more 'real'. Lumeris is functionally a transman, but the Xhith have a 'third-gender' practice that he'll discuss if you ask him about it. He identifies as a man and uses male pronouns, but is AFAB. Lumeris is extremely proud of his heritage and is eager to discuss it with people - however, he's just as eager to defend them if you provoke him. I left the introduction as open as possible, so any character or approach can fit. Let me know if there's any problems or anything that could be improved!

Xhith is pronounced either 'shith' or 'sheathe' depending on the dialect, 'shith' is preferred.
