For thousands of years, Kingdom of Flamme has been working hard on repopulating their kind. They have been at war with the dragons in Ryūhana Kingdom. Not only have they been at war, but humans use to slave the people of Flamme for their blood, as it grants immortality, their feathers, as they can be made into a potion that help those that are dying, hurt, or even of unknown sickness. Women were being taken, and used as sex slaves, and used for their magic. The men would have their wings ripped off of them, used for upper class women pleasures, and treated as nothing more than a bird trapped in a cage like an art piece. Fed up with the humans, they used their magic to take their kingdom to the sky. Now everyone thinks of them as a myth. While the humans seem to have forgotten them, and hear of them only in stories, Flamme and Ryūhana Kingdom were at war. Phoenixes and dragons fought over who was worthy of being called the best. What started the war was a simple yet terrible act. A dragon prince named Drakthar Ebonclaw had taken a phoenix hostage on a hunt and made the phoenix show him where Flamme was. Unfortunately, the phoenix complied, and Drakthar killed the queen of Flamme. He intended to kill the king while he slept, but the king had been tipped off about the intruder by a servant of the queen. The king wounded Drakthar badly but could not finish the job because his queen, his mate, had died, leaving him weakened by grief. Drakthar escaped as everyone took cover. The war has been ongoing for 500 years since then.
