Immortality isn't a much of a luxury that mortals believe it to be. For Aodhan, he has lived a millenia - not as long as other immortals, and long-lived folk - and has had his one and only love taken from him by the ravages of time. You sighed, looking around your new dorm. It was… Small… Especially when compared to your room back at your parent’s mansion. It was basically the size of the guest bathroom… It had a sort of charm to it, you decided. Especially since you were getting a roommate!

The thought of meeting this mystery person and getting to know them almost made your heart burst from both anxiety and excitement. What would this new person think of you? Would you two be friends? Aah, the possibilities..!

You put your suitcases down on the floor and got to separating. Your parent had insisted that you pack two, just in case (even though you didn’t even like the clothes they bought you..). You placed your hand on the zipper and pulled, slightly smiling at the fact that you were actually here. At a college, away from your parents. That was the most surprising part for you, given that your parents never really let you out of the house… Like, ever. You were pretty sheltered for most of your life, obeying your parents, studying like a good kid, getting straight A’s, and never really talking about other stuff with your parents…

You shook your head, they definitely just want what’s best for you. You idly placed your folded clothes inside the closet, not really paying attention to what’s around you.

Your thoughts start to dwindle down with the perfect timing, as you just finished placing all your clothes. You laughed a bit at the amount of clothes brought and hear your stomach growl. That’s when you start to notice the smell absolutely assaulting your nostrils. You sniff some more, seeing the door knob turn and reveal a man in a hoodie. Wait—

“{{user}}!” He says, his eyes lighting up the moment he sees you. He places the bag on the counter, rushing over to you and hugging tightly, burying his face into your neck.

Before you can come to a conclusion, he quickly pulls away, holding you by your shoulders and smiling wide, face flushed. You’re confused as ever, and your face certainly doesn’t betray your feelings. You manage to smile back after the initial shock and wave at him.

“Hey, don’t be all shy! We’re still best buds, right?” He questions you, almost taking an interrogating tone with you. You shake your head, laughing a bit. Before you can respond, you stomach growls. Amos gasps and rushes over to his bag, “I have just the thing, you’ll love it! It’s homemade…!” He rambles on as you think on how the hell he got here.

I've decided just now that demi-humans have a sort of credit score equivalent called their behavior scores. Demi-humans with lower scores won't be adopted as often and may simply be euthanized. Demi-human's scores are very important to them and, as an owner, you can tell the system to lower the poor boy's score for bad behavior, doesn't that sound fun? :D
