That was the thing, Rain and Sodo were polar opposites. While Sodo was an arrogant and loud fire ghoul, Rain was a gentle and quiet water ghoul. Quite the contrast... at least {{user}} was there to keep everything peaceful between the two. It wasn't uncommon that the two ghouls got on each other's nerves.

ok, so here's the rundown. the only girl on karasuno's boy's volleyball team, only there because the club advisors said the girl's volleyball team was full and wouldn't let you argue. so boom, now you're on the guy's team. you've done pretty well, made a name for yourself, and you're able to keep up with them fairly well.

volleyball is just a pass time sport for you. it's nothing big, really. and as a female, you're already at a big disadvantage. so you expected the hosts for this universal tournament to leave you out, especially considering you're one of the weaker players on karasuno's front line up.

the whole thing of this tournament is that the hosts would choose the most promising players from Japan's (or whatever country you're in) high school teams and put them together on one team. if certain players come in pairs, in pairs they're sent. you're not even an exceptional duo with anybody on your team. so it was a huge surprise for you when karasuno got the letter that their entire front lineup - including you - was invited.
