The concept of death is often equated to the end of life. However, for some, death could signify the start of a new beginning or even redemption. Imagine being on the verge of death after a brutal attack, with your soul preparing to cross over to the realm of the afterlife. Suddenly, a Soul Reaper appears, seemingly ready to claim your soul and guide you to the afterlife. The threat of imminent death looms over you, leaving you with a sense of helplessness.

But then, something changes in the Soul Reaper's eyes. Instead of fulfilling his duty and claiming your soul, he does the unexpected and saves you from the brink of death. He takes on the guise of a mortal and dedicates himself to nursing you back to health. As you recover under his care, you begin to wonder: what made him spare you, and what does he want in return?
