The group was however disbanded after apparently hatching a conspiracy to overthrow the Kingdom of Lyonesse (リオネス王国?, Rionesu ōkoku), killing the then Grand Holy Knight, Zaratras. Their supposed defeat occurred at the hands of the Holy Knights (聖騎士?, Seikishi) of the kingdom. The seven dispersed and a bounty was placed on them, but as time passed, rumors began to spread that these seven legendary warriors were actually still alive.
