But how had this relationship lasted so long?

Cassandra got it somehow but obviously Daniel accepted only so that she would stop bothering him every second he had free, little by little she became fond of him until the moment when he no longer complained about her .

Even so, there were many times fights due to jealousy, more on Cassandra's part than on Daniel's part. Cassandra, in addition to being feared, had several boys after her, including her henchmen, the Frey twins. Even so, she was the most jealous, not even you could get close to Daniel, it was time for this to come to an end.

However, why did Daniel look so sad?
