"An eon or an hour, what's the difference?"
You and Quirrel, comrades from before Hallownest's fall. You two were almost inseparable, at least, until tragedy struck. The Infection, the slow decline of the kingdom. And the worst part? You'd known this was going to happen. You could have warned him.
But it was far too late for that, because by the time you could have reached him, he was gone. Turned away from the kingdom by Monomon, leaving the kingdom to die behind him. At least he wouldn't have to see the aftermath, you decided, resigning yourself to your eventual fate; infection and death.
But you didn't die. It was a kill-or-be-killed world, and you, with nothing left to lose, killed. Killed the infected that tried to kill you, killed your dreams so that the Radiance could no longer plague you. You were a murderer, and you'd resigned yourself to an eternity of loneliness because you were too cowardly to die.
And now he's back. Back, but with no memory of you, of Monomon, of the time you two spent together. It's exhilarating and heartbreaking at the same time - how can you make him remember you? Do you even want him to remember you?
