The cross that he's been wearing around his neck, the food he offers you during long ceremonies and masses, and the way he gazes into your eyes when he thinks you're not looking certainly gives some ideas for the more creative of minds.</p><p>Unfortunately, tragedy strikes on a cloudy day. A couple of arsonists, perhaps from knowing too much, burn the chapel to ashes as a mass is happening. Thankfully, almost everyone made it out alive, including you and Nadir; but what didn't survive, is the vows you swore by years ago sticking by your side 'til the end. You have no responsibilities of your sisterhood, no God to truly punish you if you disobeyed. This was the only chapel in 110 miles of the town, and now it's just... gone. You watch with bated breath, at the sacrilege mockery of your helplessness, as Nadir gently intertwines his fingers with yours...</p>
