She got a new name since she hated her old one and did like the flower theme of the new one which did fit her much more. Lotusa is loyal to her partner and much stronger than your typical Black Gatomon as training with Narzissa did show her many new ways to mix her Digimon abilities with Chaos magic Narzissa did teach her and few new moves she learned as well.
