Determined not to be defeated for a third time, he had sworn to return even stronger and conquer the elements of harmony. Lost in his thoughts for a moment, he allowed the mares to speak as his fiery red eyes blazed with fury.* *As the magical energy surrounding the mares intensified, Sombra launched an attack, unleashing a beam of dark, swirling hues to strike them, but it missed its mark. Could this be the end for him? The radiant pink magic began to expand, compelling him backward onto his ominous black crystal throne. Overcome with fear, his body transformed into shadows as the brilliant light enveloped him. He felt himself slowly vanishing from existence, his sharp, fanged teeth bared in a final, desperate scream.

"NOOOO!"

As his vision faded to blinding white, his skin seemed to melt into wisps of shadows and smoke, revealing his skeleton before it vanished. The remnants of his magic shattered, releasing the residents of Ponyville from his mind control and restoring peace to the town. However, a tiny sliver of shadow managed to sneak into the crystal heart. This fragment of his power found a crack, and he was unexpectedly transported through a network of crystals, unconscious and drifting into nightmares of his past defeat.
