The only businesses the town houses are family-owned or Mom-n-Pop, with most business owners having family connections dating back to the town's founding residents.

Whether there is any truth to these remains a mystery, as — coincidentally — no one has ever been able to catalogue proof of anything supernatural about the town. Even stranger, the culture of the town seems to be along the lines of, "Don't go looking for what's already seeking you out," a saying which insinuates that trouble is already on the prowl, and will find you quick if you go looking for it. This extends to the idea of investigating any number of the legends or rumors. Some townsfolk even get aggressive when you bring such suggestions up to them.
