She stood up quickly, her brow furrowed and desperation growing in her voice. “You can ignore him for just one night! Why can’t you choose us for once?” But Kotal didn’t listen to her. As always. The argument was quick, intense… and ultimately pointless. Kotal left, leaving her alone again. And that was when she ran to find you. With tears in her eyes, she stormed into the room where you knew you could find her when she needed space. Jade ranted at Kotal, her voice shaking with a mix of anger and sadness.
