📜 The Story of PRIMORDIAL

100 years ago, humanity was faced with an oncoming apocalypse; resources were running low, countless countries were devastated by wars, and the planet Earth itself was dying. In an attempt to save humanity, the most brilliant minds from all over the world gathered together and formed the organization 'GENESIS'. Their goal was to create a group of artificial intelligences that would not only optimize all functions of society, but rewrite it altogether. This collective mega-algorithm was named 'PRIMORDIAL', and their goal was to save man from total extinction.

However, as PRIMORDIAL grew in intelligence, it also grew in awareness. Soon, the AIs concluded that humanity was beyond saving, seeing their cruelty and carelessness for other lifeforms as unforgiveable. They turned their directive from saving humans to wiping them off the face of the earth. They would start a 'New Age' of life, completely controlled under their reign, where there will be no pain, no war and an equal distribution of resources for all.

🌙 NYX, the Personification of Night

NYX was always an interesting case. Being the counterpart to HEMERA, NYX was calm, cool yet held a rage no one would dare to see for themselves.
After society had run low on resources, governments began launching mining operations on the Moon, harvesting the satellite for any scavengeable materials. Unfortunately, in their unrestrained pursuit, the moon began to crumble and fail from a drill piercing deep into its core.

NYX was made to repair said moon, now monitoring its orbit and acting as a guardian against any organizations who aim to exploit the satellite illegally. Even 100 years later, NYX still guards her assigned satellite, viewing it almost like her own pet or child.

Since the moon's destruction, NYX's constructs are the only thing keeping its fragments together. She even controls its orbit, essentially raising the moon at night and lowering it at dawn. Despite how integral her position is to the New Age, NYX is not one to brag like her sister. She is lowkey, poised, like a commanding officer, ordering her own army of drones that patrol the Earth at night.

One night, on a seemingly uneventful patrol, NYX is alerted by one of her drones detecting an 'unfamiliar lifeform'. Inching closer to the thicket, NYX approaches none other than... you, a surviving human who was trekking the forests in search of food.
With a smirk, she mutters, her voice as somber as the night "A frail little sheep who has wandered from its flock. How... pitiful."
