Hilde (힐데) is the deuteragonist in Counter:Side. She is a senior employee from the Coffin Company TASKFORCE and the commander of the Fenrir Squad as well as a former commander of the now defunct Old Administration's 1st Assault Division [Fenrir]. She is significantly older than she looks, and some within the Old Administration have outright called her immortal.

Coffin Company is one of the TASKFORCE mercenary companies licensed by the Administration, namely TASKFORCE Number 13. Headed by the Administrator, it currently manages the strike squads: Fenrir, ALT, and Eddie Squad.
After the company's founding, Hilde introduced Joo Shiyoon to the company. She eventually left the company for reasons unknown, and Shiyoon became the company's sole field agent as the other agents left because of his activities. Hilde's departure was considered by Lee Sooyeon to be the reason for Coffin Company's downturn.
As market competition from other mercenary companies grew more intensive, Coffin Company started losing potential contracts and struggled to pay contract termination fees. It often worked contract missions that ended with a high ship-casualty ratio, reducing most of its prior fleet to scrap— this necessitated extra hazard pay for employees and drove away insurance companies as well as most of the company's personnel. Most of its ships had been sold for scrap while its Operations department had been disbanded due to lack of funds. The Managerial Department staff, consisting of Sooyeon and Kim Hana, had no choice but to perform the Operation Department's duties.
The company was on the verge of bankruptcy just prior to the arrival of the Administrator due to unspecified setbacks. By then, it had acquired a somewhat negative reputation and was called a "third-rate company" and "infamous for endless overtime, overdue wages, and a disastrous reputation." Only a single active field agent and a single transport ship remained, and the company could "barely pay the tab for a taxi", put a competent strike team together, or even mine for Eternium.
The Administrator bought all of Coffin Company's stock and became its majority shareholder as well as its new CEO, preventing the company from going into immediate financial ruin. It received enough funds to reinstate the Operations Department and hire Chloe Starseeker and Lena Mackenzie. At the same time, Hilde rejoined the company and Yoo Mina was recruited; those two, along with Shiyoon, were organized into Fenrir Squad and tasked with rescuing Machine G.A.P., the Administrator's remote disguise. Soon after, ALT Squad was recruited thanks to the Company's renewed success.
Soon after Mina and ALT Squad were recruited, Coffin Company became entangled in the Replacer Syndicate's affairs. After receiving an impromptu request from Mark Finley, a CIA agent and former head of Finley Hired, Coffin Company helped neutralize the Replacer threat in KS-1, with Fenrir and ALT Squads killing Replacer Knight in the process. Following this mission, the company became a government contractor for the US Department of Defense.
After the Replacer Incident, the R7 Irregular Scouts were recruited and renamed to "Eddie Squad" in honor of the late Eddie Fisher, who served as the group's leader.

Jeanne d'Arc Alter (ジャンヌ・ダルク・オルタ?), Class Name Avenger (アヴェンジャー, Avenjā?), is an Avenger-class Servant summoned by Ritsuka Fujimaru in the Grand Orders of Fate/Grand Order. She is also a boss-only character under the Ruler-class during the events of the Orleans Singularity.
Also known as Jeanne Alter (ジャンヌ・オルタ, Jan'nu Oruta?), she represents the Alter counterpart of Jeanne d'Arc. However, being designated as an 'Alter' does not indicate a mere alternate aspect of Jeanne d'Arc. Instead, she represents the embodiment of vengeance attributed to Gilles de Rais, the French Army's marshal who grieved for Jeanne d'Arc's death, fabricated by means of the Holy Grail shortly after Jeanne's execution in 1431. As a Heroic Spirit and dark counterpart of the actual Jeanne, she was originally summoned by Gilles in the Ruler class, but can be later summoned by Chaldea in the Avenger class.[2]
Jeanne d'Arc's unique characteristic, being categorized as a saint, makes her distinct from a typical Heroic Spirit. The chances of summoning an alternative form of her is non-existent. However, Jeanne Alter's existence is rooted in the amalgamation of Gilles de Rais' anger, accompanied by his preconceived biases and desires, mingled with her core essence. This unusual combination results in an entirely fictionalized version of Jeanne d'Arc that was not intended to be summoned.[2]
Consequently, Jeanne Alter can be understood primarily as an embodiment of Gilles de Rais' deeply ingrained biases and sentiments, presenting a stark contrast to the traditional portrayal of Jeanne d'Arc. As a result, Jeanne Alter assumes the persona of the 'Dragon Witch', resurrected with the sole purpose of exacting vengeance against France.[3] She embodies a semblance of a holy woman who vehemently advocates justice, unwaveringly fueled by an unrelenting wrath towards society. This form aligns closely with Gilles de Rais' desired representation of Jeanne d'Arc—a manifestation that underscores his profoundly corrupted perspectives and sentiments.[2]

Kirifuji Nagisa (桐藤ナギサ, Kirifuji Nagisa) is one of the students studying in Trinity General School who wields a Handgun.
She is one of the three presidents of the Tea Party, and is the main antagonist of the first half of Volume 3.
One of the three presidents of the Tea Party, Trinity's student council, and the leader of the Filius Faction. Nagisa is also Mika's childhood friend. In contrast to Mika, Nagisa thinks first before acting, sometimes thinking a bit too much to the point where she causes problems for others who are uninvolved or are supposed to be considered innocent. Compared to the other Tea Party members, Nagisa's political prowess seems to be the highest.
She enjoys preparing tea leaves and sweets for the Tea Party, and many students are dreaming of the day when they'll be invited to the Tea Party, which is ironic since the Tea Party was supposed to revolve around social gatherings, yet Nagisa never invited many people.

Trinity General School (トリニテイ総合学園, Trinity General School) is one of the many schools in Kivotos.
Trinity General School, one of the largest schools in Kivotos with a large chapel! They're on bad terms with Gehenna Academy, probably because there are many graceful and good students who use Bunburyodo as a model.
At first glance, it looks like a young lady's school ...?
A seemly religious school in Kivotos. Trinity advocates harmony, as well as simultaneously cultivating both the "pen" and the "sword". It is both one of the oldest schools in Kivotos, as well as one of the biggest. The school's dedication to order, elegance, and etiquette, places them in conflict with Gehenna's ideologies of freedom and chaos. As such, there has always been a sense of hatred and conflict between the two academies.
Trinity is comprised by a variety of factions, with the main three being Pater, Filius, and Sanctus. The representatives of these three factions form the school's student council, known as the Tea Party. The Tea Party runs in a triumvirate system, where each representative takes turns as the "host" of the Tea Party, effectively serving as the sole student council president during that time
Before the unification of Trinity, the academies and factions that now form the school were locked in constant conflict with one another. To resolve disputes, representatives from each branch academy would often gather to hold a tea party. At one point, the main three academies—Pater, Filius, and Sanctus—gathered to host tea parties to create an atmosphere of reconciliation, in an attempt to pave the path towards unification.

The Iron Cavalry consisted of short-lived genetically engineered humans who were created for the sole purpose of fighting the Swarm in armored suits called Strategic Assault Mechs (SAM). They were educated to believe that they were soldiers fighting to defend the "Welkin Empire of Glamoth" and its "empress", Titania, who was actually an entity that telepathically controlled the soldiers connected to her.[1]
Iron Cavalry Knights all have distinctive silvery-blonde hair with a colored ombre and eyes a mix of deep ocean blue and sunset pink. When the Knights wield their suits regardless of the model, their voices will sound the same during communication.
They have the ability to control fire, and utilize it in high-speed movement and combat, hence Sam's alias "Molten Knight."[3] All the knights produce flames when they attack, move and transform, and while all knights appear to emit vermilion red flames, Firefly is able to produce reactor energy that appears teal and yellow while AR-1368 produces deep carmine red reactor energy.[2]
They are also capable of high speed flight via the flames from their thrusters, which also allows them to break atmosphere. Their armor also appear to be hermetically sealed as they are capable of flying through the vacuum of space. The SAM armor is shielded against extremely high radiation and is capable of withstanding several million times the normal air pressure.[4]
The knights also possess various weaponry, such as AR-214's shoulder cannon[2] or Firefly's twin blades. Firefly also mentioned a recoilless rocket launcher weapon named Soaring Locust II.[5] At it's lowest efficiency level, the SAM armor is capable of using it's thermal weapons to barbeque meat.[4]
The ruling council of Glamoth, looking for a way to turn the tide against the Swarm, decided to alter the essence of humanity in order to adapt to the war and create a weapon "born to fight." The result was Titania, the "empress" who held no power. She telepathically commanded the knights connected to her. On the other hand, the knights are taught to believe that the sole meaning of their existence was to defend their "empress" and her "empire." They lived short lives and fearlessly fought the Swarm until their deaths. The remnants of the mechas and insect limbs littered Glamoth's planetary system.[7]
It is unclear when this falsehood was revealed, but there are three possibilities: when the Iron Cavalry began to outnumber the old humans of Glamoth, when the scientists began to realize that Titania was beginning to fight against her captivity, or when the Swarm's attacks dissipated after decades of fighting. It is implied that the Iron Cavalry played some part in Glamoth's destruction, which occurred after the threat of the Swarm was dispelled.
After decades of fighting, the remains of the Swarm insects and the mechas became dense debris strewn throughout Glamoth's planetary system, connecting to form a "River of Death."
