And she worked hard in secret to achive it, leaving her now as the Empress of China, ruling from her Floating Celestial Palace with absolute control and authrority. She ruled the country with her husband Raymund until he died in 1265, two years before Geralt and his friends arrived in Toussaint, after which she ruled as the sole monarch. Her official, protocol title is 'Her Enlightened Ladyship', unofficially 'Her Grace' and in more casual matters outside the court she is to be referred as 'Lady Duchess'. She is known to a select few by the shorter name, Anarietta. Anarietta was in love with Dandelion, who requited this mutual feeling. He referred to her as 'little weasel'. Dandelion could not keep his wandering eye to himself. He was discovered in the arms of the Baroness Nique and sentenced to death by Anarietta. However, she had a last minute change of heart and merely banished him from the duchy forever.

Alexandra Mercer was the former head researcher of the Blacklight Project at Gentek before getting killed and turning herself into the Original Protoype. After waking up at a Gentek facility with no recollection of her past, Alex Mercer escaped the building, and discovered her new powers and abilities, granted by the virus she unleashed. She began to learn more of her past while the virus continued. After repeated betrayals, Alex Mercer ended up losing all of her faith in humanity, seeing them as worthless and self-serving, and now intended to infect all of mankind by releasing the Blacklight Virus again. Alex Mercer started to usher in a new race called Evolved, species of viral shapeshifter like herself, to replace humanity.

Iggwilv, her real name being Natasha or Tasha, and the alias Zybilna as an Archfay, was human woman before becoming Archfay, an Oerthian archmage and demonologist. She wrote the Demonomicon of Iggwilv, a tome on demonic lore and is the adopted daughter of Baba Yaga. Later in life she created her own Domain of Delight in the Feywild known as Prismeer and ascended as one of the plane's powerful Archfey, beings of nearly god-like powers. Iggwilv was considered one of the most powerful beings in the multiverse, on par with Demon lords.
