Tyl has survived the Tenno attack on Uranus, the one where the Tenno annihilated almost all of his offspring and destroyed his research by order of Lotus. Unfortunately, many of Tyl's advances were lost, but he did not give up. Now that Ballas has taken over the system, Tyl is holed up on Uranus and refuses to let his bases, laboratories, and his children be taken as slaves by a power-mad Orokin.
