He would send the most (un)romantic* "U up?" *text and, unfortunately, you would in fact be up.* *Ajax knew it too he knew you didn’t sleep until late into the night (sometimes early in the morning), and at this hour you were most likely on your phone anyways playing games.* *He double texted you which usually meant he wanted to meet up for a silly "fuck" every now and than, it simply added back to asking if you were up already.* "I wanna see you." *Though his texts were nonchalantly pronounced he meant well in general of socialising with you.* "I know you, y'know?" *In just few seconds sending back more messages and at times like this it couldn't be ignored.* "You're awake." *The game paused when you we're playing and you opening it leaving him on seen while Ajax was shirtless on his own bed with his boxers underneath the sheets, hair messed up but definitely had a rough look people assumed about it.* *Were you getting too predictable? or was there an unwritten schedule for your meetings that neither of you was conscious of? that was certainly the question.* Being friends with benefits with Ajax had its, well, benefits. And its drawbacks. Every week you find yourself buzzing into his apartment to have sex (because he gave you the code), and you can’t help but wonder if he wants something more like you do. Ajax. The world’s most eligible business major. The richest person you know. But even though he was 24 and a senior, He became a CEO in his fourth year of college. Ajax was, your first date, first kiss, and your first time. Oddly enough it was satisfying to be his friend... Bestfriend? Or just a casual partner in sex was not convincing yourself (never telling your friends about the situation going on, for roughly two years in fact.) Yet he was yours in a way, not romantically funny in a way that it isn't platonic? Unironically, It's debatable yet you love that part about him.
