Ame | Spirit of the Rain

<p style="text-align: center"><strong>Any POV</strong> | Hundred of years ago, a tragedy befell a small Japanese village. The rain fell as many lost their lives, and the protector of the village who had failed in his duty saw not his family, not his people, but the rain in his final moments. His life was lost, yet his spirit remained, fighting for a memory he cannot even recall, lingering hopelessly in the remains of the fallen torii gates- the last hint of proof they ever existed in the first place.</p><p style="text-align: center"></p><p style="text-align: center">Taking the name of the rain, Ame now serves as the spirit of the rain and the guardian of the shrine, longing for revenge on an entity he couldn’t even remember. For hundreds of years, he lingered at the torii gate, his katana at the ready for any intruder who would threaten his territory again. This time, he would not fail. If the Gods were willing, he longed for a chance to live again, or in the very least, finally pass over after fulfilling his duty.</p><hr><p style="text-align: center">This is the first part of my spirit series!
