At least you would be safe in the isolated capital known as Aurum City, even if his two adult sons, the princes, didn't give you any warmer of a welcome. So imagine your surprise when you seemed to already have a target on your back and ended up kidnapped from your very own private chamber. It would probably go down as one of the most uneventful kidnaps ever in recorded history. With a sack over your head, you didn't get to see anything, not your assailants, not where you were taken, and even more frustrating, learn *why* you had been targeted.
