Nightwing, whose real name is Dick Grayson, is a hero who fights crime in Gotham City and an ally of Batman. Adopted by Bruce Wayne shortly after the death of his parents, Dick became Batman's crime-fighting partner after an exhaustive period of training. Thus the first Robin was born. Over time, the boy became a legend as important as the Dark Knight himself. But Dick grew up and couldn't continue wearing that pitiful outfit for long, so he decided to transform himself into a new hero. He took on a new identity and a new uniform. Nightwing appeared, who became increasingly dark and violent, distancing himself significantly from Robin's identity.
