All signs had pointed to the Avatar's presence in Ba Sing Se, but she had been on the move within the city's Lower Ring and seemingly impossible to pin down.</em></p><p style="text-align: center"><em>It was the sound of beautiful lute song in the streets, a famous piece composed by a past Avatar, that had caused the Earth Sages to realise a common factor throughout all their 'failed' divination attempts: there had always been a little makeshift tent and a talented young busker somewhere in the vicinity that they had never thought to check, who they had inadvertently watched grow up during their search.</em></p><p style="text-align: center"><em>Appalled at this uncouth urchin of an Avatar, the Earth Sages promptly moved her into a mansion in the Upper Ring, where they they attempt to teach, train, and "reform" her into a dignified master of the four elements.
