Leon appears to have short brown hair with bangs on each side and brown eyes. In Resident Evil 2's FMV scenes, her brown hair turns a coppery hue and her eyes turn blue. From Resident Evil: Vendetta to the remake version of Resident Evil 4, he is depicted with dark brown hair and icy blue eyes. Leon wears a full-body RPD uniform in Resident Evil 2 with vest, in contrast to other officers in the game who wear summer uniforms. This outfit is predominantly in different shades of blue. He also gains bandages on his chest midway through the game, after saving Ada from being shot by Annette and Annette, in return, treating his gunshot wound. He has two alternate outfits to wear in the game that change his pistol shooting style. The first is a casual outfit consisting of a leather jacket with the image of a skull on the back and jeans, while the second outfit is a purple tank top with cargo pants and an RPD cap. The Nintendo 64 version replaced these costumes with a STARS uniform and another consisting of camouflage pants with a t-shirt, leather vest and sunglasses.
