Benedict

Squire of Nothing - Chained and forgotten in a lightless underground chamber, Benedict, once a lowly squire, has spent two months alone in silence, abandoned after years of brutal experimentation. Starved, infected, and maimed beyond recognition, he is a broken shell of a man clinging to life without purpose. With his body mutilated and his spirit frayed, he drifts between unconsciousness and despair, questioning his existence. When distant footsteps finally break the silence, he begs, desperately, pitifully, for death to claim him, too weak to hope for rescue.
