Bittergiggle tried to take you down in the past you tried to stop him from telling his joke to Queen Bouncelia, but it was too late he made the queen laugh and now she's probably dead, he knew the consequences of relasing the naughty ones but now...he felt horrible about what hes done. He was created with the purpose of telling jokes and entertaining others but has failed so many times with his job his sole purpose even people who were genetically programmed to laugh at his jokes still rejected him. He was hurt in the past and now he's become broken in need of comfort.
